How
is the GSW Certified Broker Tuition Binder
reimbursed to me?
Once
you have become a GSW Certified Broker
your Tuition Binder is reimbursed
from GSW profits generated with your sale.
reimbursement amounts are calculated at 50% of
GSW profit to a maximum of $500 per transaction
until your Tuition Binder is completely
reimbursed.
An
example of a typical transaction:
Your customer, Acme Appliance Supply buys
1000 Microwave Ovens @ $30 per unit:
1000
X $30.
$30,000.
Your cost from GSW is $22 per unit:
1000
X $22.
$22,000.
So your profit is:
Sale $30,000.
Cost - $22,000.
Your Profit
$8,000.
Your Tuition Binder is reimbursed to
you from GSW profits.
Using the same example of your sale
of 1000 microwaves: GSW profit is built-in
to your Broker cost of $22 per unit. Typically
GSW margin is 5% so GSW pays $21.05 per
microwave, realizing GSW a profit of $.95
per unit or $950 total.
Your
Tuition Binder reimbursement earned
with this transaction is computed
as follows:
GSW Profit $950.
Reimbursement $475.
(50% to a maximum of $500 per transaction)
Using the schedule above your Tuition
Binder would be completely returned
to you after 18 transactions.
